Vivo V1922A with 44W Rapid Charger Certified in China

A new Vivo smartphone carrying a V1922A model has been certified by the Chinese 3C authority today. This is apparently the fifth Vivo’s smartphone certified by the 3C authority this month after the V1919A, V1914T, V1921T and V1916A.

According to the listing, this handset will arrive with a 44W rapid charger – similar to the Vivo V1916A which was certified last week. Network-wise, it revealed that the device will only be coming with 4G (TD-LTE) support – which plays down speculations that it could be the upcoming IQOO 5G device.

As of now, there are still little details on the identity of this upcoming handset although reports out of China suggested it to be the second-generation’s Vivo Nex smartphone.

Vivo Z5 Render

With Xiaomi and Huawei relentlessly rolling out new smartphones every month, we could see that Vivo is under pressure to buff up their current smartphone lineups. For those who’d missed out, Vivo will be unveiling their latest Vivo Z5 mid-ranger smartphone on July 31st later this month.
