Earlier today, Vivo had confirmed that the company will be announcing their latest Vivo X21 flagship on March 19th later this month. Bear in mind however, that the upcoming Vivo X21 is not the Vivo APEX concept phone which we had seen during the MWC event last month. In fact, the Chinese company had already earlier revealed that their new APEX model will only go into mass production earliest mid-2018.
Hence, it remains quite a mystery what the Vivo X21 smartphone actually is for the time being. Normally, we tend to see at least a couple of leaked images unannounced smartphones weeks or even months before it was made official – but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore for the Vivo X21.
Whatever it is, we do at least know that the device will be coming with an under-display fingerprint display according to the press invite released by the Chinese company. Other than that, it will probably be sporting an 18:9 widescreen display which has been exceedingly common among mid-rangers and high-end devices in recent day. Needless to say, we do expect the floodgate for the Vivo X21 leaks and rumors to open in the next few days given that we’re just less than two weeks away from its unveiling day.
