Vivo X20 Plus UD certified by Chinese TENAA authority

If you can remember, last week we told you that a new Vivo X20 Plus UD smartphone had been certified by the Chinese 3C authority. According to reports out of China, this mysterious handset is expected to be a new variant of the current Vivo X20 Plus which will be featuring an under-the-screen fingerprint sensor which was popularize during last year’s MWC event held in Shanghai.

Right now, the same handset had apparently been certified by the Chinese TENAA authority as well – although the certification authority has yet to release the device’s official images and specs in its listing. Similar to the upcoming Vivo X20 Plus UD, the Vivo Xplay 7 is another smartphone rumored to be coming with the same under-screen fingerprint sensor technology.

Similarly, speculations remain rife that the recently certified X20 Plus UD smartphone could be unveiled during the ongoing CES event after the company released a teaser earlier today which shows a device with a under-screen fingerprint sensor.
