Vivo X21 Goes Official With Notched Display, Snapdragon 660; Under Screen Fingerprint Scanner Variant Also Launched

Soon after the announcement of the Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition, Vivo also unveiled the Vivo X21 smartphone. Alongside the Vivo X21, the Chinese manufacturer has also officially launched the Vivo X21 Screen Fingerprint

Vivo X21 Specifications and Features

The Vivo X21 features 6.28-inch Super AMOLED notch enabled 19:9 aspect ratio display that offers FHD+ resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels. The notch houses the f/2.0 aperture 12-megapixel selfie camera. Its accompanied by IR for Face Wake 2.0 and 3D mapping. The back panel of the phone is equipped with f/1.8 aperture 12-megapixel + f/2.4 aperture 5-megapixel dual camera setup. It houses a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.

The Vivo X21 is fueled by Snapdragon 660 chipset and includes a dedicated AI core. The SoC is supported by 6 GB of RAM. It can be availed in 64 GB and 128 GB storage sizes. The handset is fueled by 3,200mAh battery that is coupled with fast charging capabilities. The device is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo that is customized with FunTouch OS 4.0.

The Vivo X21 Screen Fingerprint model packs the same specs, but it comes with under-display fingerprint scanner and 128 GB of native storage.

Vivo X21 Pricing and Availability

The 64 GB and 128 GB storage editions of the Vivo X21 are respectively priced at 2,898 Yuan (~$458) and 3,198 Yuan (~$505). It will be available from March 24 in colors like Aurora White, Ruby Red and Black. The Vivo X21 Screen Fingerprint that comes in Ruby Red or Black color options will be available for buying form March 28 with a price tag of 3,598 Yuan (~$568).
