XDA MEMBER FOUND A FIX TO NEXUS 7 LAG AFTER ANDROID 4.2 UPDATEOwners of the Nexus 7 should have discovered that the tablet became laggy after updating to the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Although many users have been complaining about the lag, there is still no official response from Google and Asus yet. However thanks to a member from XDA-Developers forum, you could allegedly fix the bug through following steps :

  1. Open your app draw
  2. Open Google Currents
  3. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the app
  4. Tap “settings”
  5. Uncheck “enable background sync”
  6. Reboot your Nexus 7

According to him, the main culprit behind this laggy issue is the constant background synchronization by the Google Current application. Share with us if the above method actually works on your Nexus 7!
