On July 30, Xiaomi took off covers from the Black Shark 2 Pro gaming smartphone in China. It is the company’s first phone to arrive with Snapdragon 855+ chipset that is nothing but an overclocked version of Snapdragon 855 for better gaming experience. Starting from tomorrow, the Black Shark 2 Pro will be available for purchase in China. It will be available for buying in two models such as 12 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. However, the Black Shark 2 Pro TENAA listing reveals that it had approved more variants of the phone. Probably, the newly spotted models may debut at some time later.
The above screenshot shows that the Black Shark 2 Pro that has a model number of DLT-A0 has 6 GB and 8 GB RAM listings apart from the 12 GB RAM that was announced at the unveil event. Also, apart from 128 GB and 256 GB storage editions, the TENAA listing has mentioned a 512 GB storage variant.
The 12 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage editions of the Black Shark 2 Pro are respectively priced at 2,999 Yuan ($435) and 3,499 Yuan ($508). The appearance of 6 GB / 8 GB RAM models show that cheaper variants of the Black Shark 2 Pro may debut in the near future. It goes without saying the 512 GB edition could be arriving with a costlier price tag.
