Xiaomi Mi 5X has been officially announced after being teased by the company itself since the past few weeks. The Xiaomi Mi 5X has a metal unibody chassis with anti-fingerprint coating and it houses a 5.5-inch full screen. The display is covered with 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone measures 155.4 x 75.8 x 7.3 mm and its weight is 165 grams.
It receives power from the Snapdragon 625 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. It comes with a native storage of 64 GB and users can make use of the hybrid SIM slot of this dual-SIM phone to add a microSD card.
The Xiaomi Mi 5X has the dual rear cameras that is present on the Mi 6 flagship phone. Its dual camera system present on the back panel includes a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. The frontside of the Mi 5X features a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. The rear side of the phone also features a fingerprint reader. It features a USB-C port.
The phone comes loaded with Android Nougat flavored with MIUI 8. It will be one of the first smartphones from Xiaomi to get the MIUI 9 update. It is packed with a 3,080mAh battery. The Xiaomi Mi 5X is exclusively in China and it is available in colors like black, gold and rose gold. It is available with a pricing of 1,999 Yuan (~$295). it appears like a cheaper edition of Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship.
