Xiaomi Mi 5X Visits FCC, Reveals Battery Size

Xiaomi Mi 5X has been listed on the official store of the company. As of this writing, 271950 have registered for the Mi 5X smartphone. It is slated to officially debut on July 25. Just before its official launch, the Xiaomi Mi 5X has received FCC certification. It has revealed the battery size of the phone.

According to the FCC documents of the Xiaomi Mi 5X, it will be coming with a 3,000mAh battery that can be charged through its USB-C port. One of the press renders suggests that it features a USB-C port and the battery can be charged by a 10W adapter (5V/2A). A leaked poster of the Xiaomi Mi 6X has revealed that the Snapdragon 625 chipset will be powering the smartphone.

The Xiaomi MI 5X will be coming with a 5.5-inch full HD screen. The SD625 chipset is supported by 4 GB of RAM. It will come loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat. The rear side of the phone features dual rear cameras and a fingerprint reader. It will be unveiled along with MIUI 9 on July 25. Speculations are rife that there will be a high variant featuring Snapdragon 660 chipset and 6 GB of RAM.
