Xiaomi has introduced the Mi 8 smartphones in storage variants like 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. All of them respectively feature 6 GB of RAM. Today, Xiaomi has introduced an 8 GB RAM variant for the Mi 8. The new variant features 128 GB of internal storage.
Apart from upgraded RAM, the new variant features the same specs as other models of the Mi 8. The handset features a 6.21-inch AMOLED display that supports Full HD+ resolution. The Snapdragon 845 SoC is present under the hood of the phone. The inclusion of 128 GB storage brings sufficient storage to the phone as it does not feature a microSD card slot.
The smartphone is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo that is customized with MIUI 9.5. It will be soon treated with MIUI 10 in the coming weeks. It is packed with a 3,400mAh battery. For photography, it features a pair of 12-megapixel cameras on its rear and its front panel is fitted with 20-megapixel selfie camera. It also features an infrared camera on its notch which allows it to support facial recognition in dim-light conditions. It carries a price tag of 3,299 Yuan ($482).
