Xiaomi Mi CC9 & CC9e have been officially announced

Xiaomi fans rejoice! After a considerably long wait, the highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi CC9 and CC9e had finally made their official debut in China today. In a nutshell, the new CC9 and CC9e duo are two incredible mid-rangers which you could grab at an extremely affordable price tag.

Xiaomi CC9 Specifications & Pricing

First and foremost, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 is so far the highest-end model within the CC9 series. The device arrives with a elegant dual-glass design and has a waterdrop-notch on its front panel. It has a 6.39-inch AMOLED display which boast a 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution. As as additional security feature, an in-display fingerprint sensor is also available under the front panel.

In case you do not know, the selfie camera comes with a dedicated AI portrait mode which could be utilized under low-light environment.

Software-wise, the CC9 runs on MIUI 10 which sits atop the Android Pie OS. There will be a 4,030mAh battery underneath its rear chassis which supports 18W fast-charging.

Pricing for the Xiaomi Mi CC9 will starts from as low as 1,799 Yuan (S$355) for the 6GB+64GB base model and up to as much as 1,999 Yuan (S$394) for the 6GB+128GB high-end model. For those who’re interested, there are three color options for you to choose from namely White Lover, Blue Planet and Dark Prince.

Xiaomi Mi CC9e Specifications & Pricing

The Xiaomi Mi CC9e in contrast, arrives with a smaller form factor and a slightly watered-down specs in exchange for a more affordable price tag. Unlike the CC9, the CC9e sports a smaller 6.08-inch AMOLED with 1560 x 720 pixels screen resolution.

Similarly, the device will also be driven by the newly announced Snapdragon 665 SoC instead of the SD 710 SoC found in the CC9. Apart from the aforementioned differences, the rest of the specs remain pretty much similar as the CC9.

Pricing for the Xiaomi Mi CC9e will starts from as low as 1,299 Yuan (S$256) for the 4GB+64GB base model and goes up to as high as 1,599 Yuan (S$315) for the 6GB+128GB model. As for its color options, the CC9e will come with the same set of color options as the CC9.
