Phillippe Starck, a designer from France had teamed up with Xiaomi in designing the Xiaomi Mi MIX has shared a concept design video of Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 on his Facebook account. This suggests the French designer has collaborated once again with Xiaomi to design the upcoming the Mi MIX 2.
As it can be seen in the above video, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 concept design suggests that it has a bezel-less design as the sides bezels are not visible. The upper bezel is quite thin and the bottom bezel is a bit thick as it houses a selfie camera. The bottom side of the phone seems to feature a USB-C port that separates the two external speakers. The design shows that the Mi MIX 2 will be boasting a higher screen-to-body ratio than the original Mi MIX. Speculations have it that it may offer a whopping 95-percent screen-to-body ratio.
Rumors have revealed that the 128 GB and 256 GB storage editions of Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will be respectively featuring 6 GB of RAM and 8 GB of RAM. Both the variants are rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset. They are speculated to arrive with a respective pricing of 3,999 Yuan ($600) and 4,999 Yuan ($750). It is expected to house a Sony IMX386 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. A 3,400mAh battery is speculated to be under the hood of the Mi MIX 2.
