A new Xiaomi phone with model number M1908F1XE has spotted on TENAA. It has revealed that the phone carries support for 5G connectivity. Most smartphone OEMs are busy launching 5G phones in the home market. Hence, the M1908F1XE could be an upcoming 5G flagship phone. Probably, it could be the next Mi MIX series smartphone.
The M1908F1XE appears like the successor of the Mi MIX 5G in terms of the model number. The Mi MIX 2S from March 2018 had a model number of M1803D5XE. Hence, it appears the newly spotted M1908F1XE could be either be called the Mi MIX 3S or Mi MIX 4. There is a possibility Xiaomi may skip the Mi MIX 4 moniker since the number 4 is a bad omen in the home market and it may debut as Xiaomi Mi MIX 5.
Nothing much is known about the specifications of the Xiaomi’s upcoming 5G smartphone. Xiaomi’s Product Director Wang Teng Thomas had recently claimed that it will be offering a higher wireless charging speeds than the Mi 9 that supports 20W rapid wireless charging. So, the wireless charging on the new next Mi MIX series will exceed 20W. Also, being a Mi MIX series phone, it will arrive with an impressive bezel-less design.
