Xiaomi had confirmed in the previous week that it would be announcing a new smartphone on July 11. The day has come and the company has unleashed the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Special Edition in China.
In China, Xiaomi is already selling the Mi Note 2 in 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and a Global edition with 6 GB RAM. Today, Xiaomi has listed a new version of the phone called Xiaomi MI Note 2 Special Edition that features 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage. The smartphone is priced at 2,599 Yuan (~$382). It is currently available in black color.
The respect of the specs of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Special Edition is same as its other variants. It features a 5.7-inch dual-edge curved display that offers 2K resolution. It is driven by Snapdragon 821 chipset. It features a 22.5-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It is packed with a 4,070mAh capacity battery.
