Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Gets WiFi Alliance Certification

Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, has been trying to spread its tentacles to other countries outside China. The company has a firm grip on the second largest smartphone market in the world – India but the United States is not an easy market to penetrate mostly due to the stringent government laws. A couple of Chinese companies have tried to officially enter the US but they failed. However, one of Xiaomi’s upcoming devices, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro just got the approval of Wi-Fi Alliance in the US thus this is a good news for the company. Unfortunately, WiFi Alliance certification does not reveal much about devices but we already have previous rumors to dwell on.

According to Roland Quandt, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will have 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variants. Well, this is really nothing solid because it is the Redmi series and that is exactly what we expect from Redmi phones for now. Also, this device will not cost more than $300 which makes it affordable to those that want it. There will also be a lot of colour options to select from thus we expect some “odd” colours which should make the device stand out. WiFi Alliance gives the model number of this smartphone as M1806E7TH but there is no doubt about its name, it is clearly described as Redmi Note 6 Pro. This strongly implies that this smartphone is coming to the US soon and it will be the first in the Note series to do so.
