On May 31, Xiaomi had launched the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE as the world’s first Snapdragon 710 powered smartphone. The handset was unveiled alongside Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi 8 Explorer Edition phones that were packed with flagship specifications. At the launch event, Xiaomi had confirmed that the Mi 8 SE would be available in China in variants like 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage + 6 GB RAM. Both the variants have been available in the home market soon after the smartphone was officially unveiled. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has introduced higher version for Mi 8 SE. It features 128 GB storage and 6 GB of RAM.
The newly announced 128 GB + 6 GB Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has landed in China with a price tag of 2,299 Yuan ($338). It is available in colors like gold, dark gray, bright red and bright blue. The new variant features the same specs that are available on the other variants of the phone. It is packed with 5.88-inch FHD+ notched AMOLED display, 20-megapixel front camera, 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel rear-mounted dual camera and 3,120mAh battery.
The Mi 8 SE currently available in China. It is no clear as to when it will be made available in international markets.
