Apple will be reportedly starting the productions of the low cost iPhone that is dubbed as iPhone 9 in February. The handset is expected to launch in March. In September, the Cupertino company will continue with the trend of launching its flagship iPhones. A fresh report on the reliable Macotakara blog has revealed the sizes of the 2020 iPhones.
According to the latest report on the Japanese blog, the iPhone 12 models arriving this year will have a 5.4-inch model that will sit between the bigger than the iPhone 9 launching in March with 4.7-inch screen size. There will be an iPhone 12 model with a 6.1-inch display. It will be slotted between the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Lastly, the iPhone 12 model with a 6.7-inch will be a bigger than the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
The iPhone 12 with 6.7-inch display will have a thickness of 7.4mm. Hence, it will be thinner than the iPhone 11 Pro Max that measures 8.1mm in thickness.
All the flagship iPhone 12 models are expected to come equipped with OLED panels and varied camera setups. The base model will have a dual camera setup. The 6.1-inch iPhone 12 will be coming in dual camera and triple camera options. The 6.7-inch iPhone 12 will be coming with a triple camera system. The triple camera totting 6.1-inch iPhone 12 and its larger 6.7-inch model will be equipped with 3D ToF sensors. These iPhones will continue to sport Face ID.
The iPhone 9 that is likely to launch in March with iPhone 8 like design will bring back the Touch ID sensor. It is likely a larger iPhone 9 Plus may go official alongside it.
