A whopping 63 billion WhatsApp messages had been sent on New Year’s Eve alone this year, surpassing the company’s record so far. Of course, this number include a total of 7.9 billion images as well as 2.4 billion videos sent on the same day.
Out of the 63 billion messages, almost 14 billion of them were sent in India making them one of the heaviest WhatsApp users in the world. Currently, the number of Whatsapp subscribers had already broke the 1 billion mark crowning it as the most popular instant messaging app in the market.
