Although the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 was announced less than 2 months ago, but reports out of China had already hinted that the Chinese company is currently working on another buffed up version of the device which will be named as the Mi Mix 2s.
These speculations however, have been backed by a set of newly leaked spy shots of the alleged handset which made its appearance on Chinese Weibo earlier today. Needless to say, all the Xiaomi fans were hyped up by these newly leaked images, which shows the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s with an iPhone X kind of cutout at its top bezel.
From the images we seen here, it is pretty obvious that the Mi Mix 2s will have its front-facing selfie cam located on the top right bezel this time round, instead of the awkward bottom right position as found in current the Mi Mix 2. With the relocation of the front-facing camera, it could be safe to say that the upcoming Mi Mix 2s could be featuring a slightly smaller bezels below its main display this time round.
While cut-out bezels isn’t particularly common among the smartphones we’d seen today, but the genesis of the iPhone X could very well kick off such a trend so we wouldn’t be surprised if we really happen to see such a design from the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s in future (if it exists).
