Recent leaks have revealed that the Nova 2s is an upcoming smartphone from Huawei. The rumor mill has leaked fresh images of the Nova 2s. One of the images also contains the key specs of the smartphone.
As it can be seen in the above image, the appearance of the Nova 2s is similar to the Honor V10 smartphone that was officially launched recently. Like the V10, it features a full screen design with 18:9 aspect ratio display and front-mounted fingerprint reader. The front side of the phone also features dual selfie snappers.
The rear view of the smartphone shows that it houses dual cameras. It appears that the smartphone features a glass rear. As far as the specs are concerned, the Nova 2s has a 6-inch display and it is powered by Kirin 960 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. The Kirin 960 SoC is the same chipset that powered 2017 flagship phones from Huawei such as Mate 9 smartphones.
The rear-facing dual cameras include an f/1.8 aperture 20-megapixel sensor and an f/1.8 aperture 16-megapixel sensor. The frontside of the smartphone features a pair of 20-megapixel sensors. The smartphone will be equipped with facial recognition feature and NFC. For audiophiles, it is expected to feature an inbuilt Hi-Fi chip. It is expected to come preinstalled with EMUI 8.0 flavored Android OS.
The leaked images of the Nova 2s have already appeared in the recent past. Previous rumors have claimed that it may launch as Nova 3. It is speculated to launch next with a pricing of 2,999 Yuan (~$454).
