The highly anticipated Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus budget smartphones with full screen design will be official tomorrow. A leaked photo that shows the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones sitting besides each other confirms the Snapdragon chipsets that will be powering both the phones.
As it can be seen in the above image, the Redmi 5 Plus placed on the left features a 5.99-inch display that supports 18:9 aspect ratio. The following mentions that it will be featuring a battery that will offer a 17-day standby time, a soft-LED flash for the selfie camera, a 12-megapixel rear-mounted camera and Snapdragon 625 chipset. The reason why the Redmi 5 Plus would be delivering a longer standby time is because it is speculated to house a 4,000mAh battery.
The Redmi 5 smartphone that sits on the right side in the leaked image features a 5.7-inch that will deliver an aspect ratio of 18:9. It features a battery that offers a standby time of 13 days and Snapdragon 450 chipset. Like the Redmi 5 Plus, it also features a 12-megapixel rear camera and soft-LED flash for the frontal snapper. The Redmi 5 is expected to house a 3,200mAh battery.
All the rumors and leaked information that have surfaced so far have only speculated on the chipset of the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus. However, the above leaked image seems to be a real proof that confirms the Snapdragon chipsets that will driving the Redmi 5 duo.
