Sony Xperia XZ Pro Could be Unveiled at MWC with Snapdragon 845, Dual Rear Cameras

The Sony Xperia XA2, Xperia XA2 Ultra and Xperia L2 smartphones were unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018. It is speculated that the Japanese tech giant may debut the Xperia XZ Pro flagship phone at the Mobile World Congress. A lot of information on its rumored specs have surfaced.

The Xperia XZ Pro is speculated to house a 5.7-inch OLED screen that will deliver 4K resolution. However, there is no confirmation on whether the smartphone will be supporting 16:9 or 18:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 845 chipset will be driving the Xperia XZ Pro along with 6 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 128 GB.

The rear panel of the Xperia XZ Pro will be housing dual camera setup that will include 18-megapixel sensor with a pixel size of 1.33?m and 12-megapixel sensor with a pixel seize of 1.38?m. It has a selfie camera of 8-megapixel. There is no information available on the placement of its fingerprint scanner. It will be fueled by a 3,420mAh battery. Like the other Sony phones, the Xperia XZ Pro flagship phone will be coming with an IP68 certified dustproof and waterproof chassis. It is expected to debut a pricing of around 6,000 Yuan (~$930). Even though it is expected to get announced at MWC 2018, its sales is rumored to start in June this year.
