The OPPO A71 smartphone was launched in September and now the company has announced a successor edition for it. The new OPPO A71 (2018) comes with a conventional 16:9 display and it carries support for AI beautification technology for snapping amazing selfie shots.

The OPPO A71 is fitted with a 5.2-inch display that carries support for HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The Snapdragon 450 chipset powers the smartphone along with 2 GB of RAM. The native storage available on the phone is 16 GB. It also features a microSD card slot.
It features a rear-facing camera of 13-megapixel and a frontal camera of 5-megapixel. The AI Beauty Recognition Technology available on the phone can smartly enhance the key areas of the face while snapping selfies. The selfie camera also carries support for bokeh effect that can effectively blur the background. The handset comes loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat that is overlaid with Color OS 3.2. The other features of the OPPO A71 (2018) include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB, and 3.5mm audio jack. It is equipped with a 3,000mAh battery.
The smartphone has been launched with a pricing of Rs 12,990 (~$203) in India. The handset is also available on the official site of OPPO in countries like Malaysia and Pakistan.
