LG V30s with LG Lens Launching at MWC 2018

In the previous month, it was revealed that LG won’t be launching the LG G7 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. Instead, it will be unveiling an advanced version of the LG V30. Fresh information that has surfaced claims that it would be launching as LG V30s. The specifications, features and pricing have also been leaked

There are two features that will set it apart from the LG V30 and V30+ smartphones that were launched last year in September. The V30 has 64 GB storage and V30+ includes 128 GB storage. However, the newer V30s will come with 256 GB storage. Also, it will be packed with LG Lens, a feature that is not available on any of LG phones released so far.

LG Lens brings AI capabilities to the camera of the V30s. It can translate text and show online product listing while snapping an image of a product. It also includes support for bar-code recognition and QR code. With AR, it can show the fastest route to destination and show information on famous restaurants.

Starting from early next month, probably on March 9, the LG V30s will be available in South Korea with a pricing of 1 million won (~$919) through the three popular carriers of the country.
