This morning Xiaomi has confirmed through its MIUI Weibo account that the annual product launch event that will be held on May 31 will also mark the arrival of MIUI 10. The text present on the official poster of MIUI 10 is similar to what it had used for MIUI 9 last year. However, it has modified the slogan from “fast as lightning” to “faster than lightning” which indicates that the performance of MIUI 10 will surpass its predecessor.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 8 smartphone will be unveiled at the upcoming Shenzhen event on May 31 as its eighth anniversary edition smartphone. Now that the company has confirmed that MIUI 10 is launching through the same even, it seems that the Xiaomi Mi 8 will be the first phone to come loaded with MIUI 10.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had recently claimed that the company will be launching a variety of new products through its upcoming unveil event. Apart from Xiaomi Mi 8 and MIUI 10, the Chinese manufacturer is also expected to debut the Mi Band 3. Some rumors have claimed that the company might skip Mi 7 to launch the Mi 8 phone. However, there is no obvious reason as to why company would be skipping the Mi 7, it is also one of the products that is rumored to go official at Shenzhen event.
