Lenovo has launched the all new Lenovo Z5. By far, the smartphone has failed to meet all the expectations that it had set through the teasers. Here is all the information available on the specs, features and pricing of the phone.
Lenovo Z5 is fitted with a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display that supports a tall aspect ratio of 19:9. It features a notch and a slightly thick chin. It was expected to arrive as a flagship phone, but the handset is fueled by Snapdragon 636 SoC and 6 GB of RAM. It can be availed in 64 GB and 128 GB storage models. The smartphone is preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo that is overlaid with ZUI 4.0.
For photography, the Lenovo Z5 features 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual camera setup with AI capabilities. For snapping selfies, it houses a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel. With machine learning, the Z5 can capture better selfies. The Chinese manufacturer has included a 3,300mAH battery with 18W fast charging to keep the lights on.
The glass rear of the Lenovo Z5 boasts dual colors under different lighting. It can be bought in colors like Black, Blue and Aurora. The 64 GB and 128 GB storage models of the Lenovo Z5 are respectively priced at 1,299 Yuan ($202) and 1,799 Yuan ($280). The handset will be available for buying in China from June 12. As of this writing, there is no confirmation on the other markets that will be receiving the Lenovo Z5.
