It was quite a surprise when Taiwanese multinational computer, phone hardware, and electronics company, ASUS, announced its Zenfone 5Q in the US. From prior speculations and rumors, this smartphone was expected sometime in July but the launch of the Asus Zenfone 5Q woke up those in the equatorial region. The major highlight of this smartphone is its quad-camera.
The Asus Zenfone 5Q is equipped with a 6-inch 18:9 screen with 2160×1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. This smartphone is actually a rebranded version of Asus Zenfone 5 Lite but it runs on ZenUI 5.0 on top of Android Oreo.
Like we said earlier, the Zenfone 5Q is equipped with a quad-camera setup. On the rear, it has a 16MP f/2.2 with 80-degree FoV coupled with another shooter with a 120-degree wide FoV. On the front, it has a primary 20MP f/2.0 sensor coupled with the same secondary sensor as the rear. The lights of this smartphone are kept on by a 3,300mAh battery. As for its pricing and availability, Asus Zenfone 5Q was launched with a $299 price tag. It is available in Midnight Black and the Moonlight White color variants in the US but reports says that there are other colour options so you may want to carefully surf through the retailers.
