In the previous month, Vivo had launched the Vivo X21 with under-display fingerprint scanner in Taiwan. Starting from today, the Chinese manufacturer will be selling a new Glowing Red color variant of the smartphone in Taiwan. The new color variant has been introduced with a price tag of NT$16,990 ($560) in the country.
The Vivo X21 Glowing Red edition has the same specs that are available on its regular edition. It features a 6.28-inch AMOLED display that supports 19:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The handset offers a screen-to-body ratio of 90.3 percent. Ofcourse, the major highlight of the phone is that it features an in-display fingerprint reader.
In addition to the advanced fingerprint sensor, the handset also features support for facial scanning. The rear side of the phone features 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. The front camera of the phone is of 12-megapixel. The Snapdragon 660 chipset is present under the hood of the phone along with 6 GB of RAM. It has a battery of 3,200mAh capacity. The handset is loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo that is customized with FunTouch OS.
