Today, we got confirmation that OPPO F9 will be launched on August 15th and it will be first sold in Vietnam and Philippines. It was also revealed that this smartphone will be coming with a VND 8 million ($345) price tag in Vietnam and this is a mid-range price. Now, we have some fresh information regarding the OPPO F9. This morning, a 6GB RAM variant of this device surfaced Geekbench. From the Geekbench listing, the F9 is code-named CPH1823, and it is equipped with a 12nm Helio P60 chip. Other information on this listing shows that this smartphone will run on ColorOS 5.2 on top of Android 8.1. It racked up a single-core score of 1481 while the multi-core score is 5673.
From previous speculations, the oppo F9 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 chip coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and at least 64GB of internal storage. It has a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2280×1080, screen ratio of 90.8%, and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. For photography, we have a 16MP+2MP rear camera setup which is supported by a 25MP selfie shooter. A 3500 mAh battery will be available for power and it will probably support VOOC fast charging. Other features which are expected in this device includes a dual SIM support as well as 4G LTE. The smartphone will be coming in colors like Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple.
