Last month, we reported that a new Huawei smartphone codenamed ARE-AL00 had been certified by the Chinese TENAA authority. Although this device was initially thought to be the upcoming Huawei Honor 8X, it was later confirmed to be the Honor 8X Max which will be announced alongside the former handset.
Right now, the Honor 8X has finally been certified by the same authority, carrying the model number JSN-AL00. While its listing does not reveal any of its official images, but it do reveal most of its key specs instead.
According to the listing, the Honor 8X will be coming with a 6.5-inches display with 2340 x 1080 pixels and a 19.5:9 tall aspect ratio. The device seems to be powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC alongside 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB internal storage space in its memory compartment.
As for its camera, the device will be featuring a 20MP+2MP dual-camera setup at the back, as well as a 16MP front-facing sensor for selfie and video-calling purposes. A 3,650mAh non-removable battery will be available to keep it ticking for a decent amount of time.
If nothing goes wrong, the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max should be officially announced on September 5th.
