Through the official Xiaomi Company Weibo account, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be announcing something new tomorrow. It is now being speculated that the Chinese manufacturer could be releasing some important information or teaser on its first smartphone with 48-megapixel camera.
The above Weibo post does not reveal any information on what Xiaomi will be announcing tomorrow at 10 AM. In the previous month, Xiaomi President Lin Bin had shared a photo showing a partial view of a 48-megapixel camera smartphone. Rumors started swirling that it could be Redmi series flagship phone from the company. Some other reports have revealed that it could be the Redmi Pro 2 that may arrive as the successor for the original Redmi Pro smartphone from 2016.
Lin Bin had claimed that the 48-megapixel smartphone will be released in January. Hence, there is a possibility that the company may reveal some information on the mysterious phone tomorrow. In the previous month, the 3C body had certified model numbers such as M1901F7C, M1901F7E and M1901F7T that possibly belongs to the same phone. Probably, it could be the 48-megapixel camera phone. There is no confirmation on whether the phone features Sony IMX586 or Samsung Bright GM1 48-megapixel sensor.
