The Xiaomi Mi 9 is an upcoming flagship smartphone from Xiaomi. However, it won’t go official before the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G edition that is expected to go official in March this year. However, a fresh leak reveals that the Xiaomi Mi 9 may hit the market in March. The new leak has also revealed the starting price and the entire specifications of the smartphone.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is rumored to house a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display. It is likely to produce full HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It will be also featuring an in-display fingerprint scanner. The dimensions of the smartphone are 155 x 75 x 7.6mm.
The Snapdragon 855 chipset with X24 LTE modem inside it will be powering the Mi 9. The exclusion of X50 LTE modem suggests that the Mi 9 won’t support 5G connectivity. The base model of the phone is expected to arrive with 6 GB of RAM and an inbuilt storage of 128 GB. For more storage, it will be featuring a microSD card.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 will be featuring a triple camera setup on its rear. It will include a primary sensor of 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor. There is a secondary sensor of 12-megapixel and a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) camera. For snapping selfies, it will be featuring 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor. It will be packed with a 3,500mAh battery that will not only support wireless charging and 32W rapid charging. The base model of the phone will be carrying a price tag of 2,999 Yuan ($436).
