Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Appears on Geekbench with Key Specs

A Samsung phone with a model number of SM-G970U has appeared on Geekbench today. Based on previous reports, it can be said that the model number belongs to the Galaxy S10 Lite. The SM-G970U seems to be the model number of the unlocked version of the S10 Lite for the U.S. market. As usual, the Geekbench listing has revealed some vital information on the device.

According to the Geekbench listing of the Galaxy S10 Lite, it features “msmnile” chipset and 6 GB of RAM. The smartphone is preinstalled with Android 9 Pie OS. In the single-core test, the Galaxy S10 Lite has scored 1986 points. In the multi-core test, it has scored 6266 points. The benchmarking scores are lower than other Snapdragon 855 chipset driven devices that have appeared on Geekbench.

The Geekbench scores of the Galaxy S10 Lite is even lower than that of Snapdragon 845 powered phones. The reason behind it could be that S10 Lite model that has surfaced on Geekbench could be a pre-production unit that could be running on a non-final version of software.

The Galaxy S10 Lite will be coming with a 5.8-inch S-AMOLED display. It will be arriving with a 3,100mAh battery, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual camera setup and a single selfie shooter. It may be priced between $650 and $750 in the U.S. The S10 Lite is expected to go official along with S10 and S10 Plus on Feb. 20.
