After rounds of teasing, Vivo has finally confirmed that they will be unveiling the highly anticipated Vivo Z1 Pro on July 3rd. Earlier this week, we had already seen a leaked hands-on video of the Vivo Z1 Pro which revealed that the device will sport an exact same design as the newly announced Vivo Z5x.
Although the two smartphones share the same design language, but Vivo has made some minor improvements to the Vivo Z1 Pro by equipping the device with a Snapdragon 712 SoC as well as a customized gaming mode which aims to provide a smooth gaming experience for its users. This gives the Vivo Z1 Pro an edge over the current Z5x which is driven by a Snapdragon 710 SoC.
From what we’d learned so far, the Vivo Z1 Pro is expected to arrive in 3 memory configurations including 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB, as well as 6GB+128GB.
Apart from that, it will also come with a 6.53-inches FHD+ display which features a punch hole design that house a 32MP selfie camera on the top-left corner. On its rear chassis, there will be a triple camera setup on its rear chassis comprising of a 16MP main snapper, an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Under the hood, a mammoth 5,000mAh battery will be available to support hours of continuous gaming and entertainment on the go as well.
