Yesterday, the long awaited Black Shark 2 Pro was finally announced in China, offering a slew of interesting features and advanced specs specially tailored for hardcore gamer.
Right now, the device had garnered nearly 200,000 pre-registrations in less than a day after it was announced. This of course, doesn’t came much as a surprise since the Black Shark gaming phones have been one of the best selling models in the Chinese market.
Registrations for the debut sale will run from now till August 2nd, after which the Black Shark 2 Pro will be available for purchase. The lower-end model with 12GB+128GB memory configuration will come with a price tag of 2,999 Yuan ($435) , while the high-end model with 12GB+256GB setup will cost you 3,499 Yuan ($508).
Black Shark 2 Pro Specifications
The Black Shark 2 Pro arrives with a 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with in-screen fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the device is driven by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC alongside 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage space.
Moving on to its camera, the Black Shark 2 Pro has a dual-camera setup on its rear chassis comprising of a 48 megapixels (f/1.75 aperture) main snapper and a 12 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) secondary snapper. On the front, there is also a 20 megapixels (f/2.0 aperture) camera for selfies and video-calling purposes.
The device is equipped with a 4,000mah battery which supports 27W rapid charging.
