It seems like the popularity of 5G smartphones have been accelerating in the Chinese market. Last week, we saw significant interest on the newly announced Huawei Mate 20 X 5G after the device garnered more than 300,000 registrations within a short span of time.
Today, the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G has also been sold out in less than an hour into its debut sales. Although the the Chinese smartphone maker did not reveal how many units were sold, but it is obvious that the company did not anticipate such a huge demand for their first-ever 5G device.
The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G retails at a price of 4,999 Yuan (US$720) for its 6GB+128GB model in the Chinese market. Apart from it’s additional support for 5G network, the rest of its specs remain the same as the 4G model.
According to JD.com, the device will go on sale again on August 7th this week. Those who’re interested can go ahead and register for the next round of sale.
