Yesterday, Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 series will be officially announced on August 29th later this month.
The device will arrive with arrive with a quad-camera setup which houses a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor. Under the hood, it will also be driven by the latest Mediatek’s Helio G90T SoC which is said to deliver a superior gaming experience for it’s users.
Today, another alleged live image of the Redmi Note 8 has been leaked again – showing off a familiar rear design which we had saw from the official press invite the day before.
The device has a neat L-shaped camera configuration which has 3 sensors located vertically at the middle and a LED flash and ToF sensor affixed to it’s right. However, the fingerprint sensor seems to be placed in an awkward position directly below the vertical camera setup which many believed will result in unimaginable amount of fingerprints on the third sensor, especially for those with huge thumbs.
Apparently, the Redmi Note 8 is already undergoing production more than two weeks ago. This time round, Xiaomi’s VP Lu Weibing is confident that the number of units stocked up will be able to meet the demand of the consumers.
