Honor Confirms September 4 Launch; May Debut Honor 20 SE

Honor has confirmed today that it will be holding an unveil event on Sept. 4. The official Weibo post from the company reads that it will be launching a new phone in the Honor 20 series. Based on the rumors, it can be guessed that the company could be announcing the Honor 20 SE phone on the said date.

The poster released by the company shows the alleged Honor 20 SE in the hands of the Chinese celebrity. Probably, it could be the Honor YAL-AL50 / TL50 smartphone that has recently appeared on TENAA with full specifications. The TENAA listing of the phone suggests that it could be a lower variant of the Honor 20 smartphone

The TENAA listing had revealed that the phone is equipped with a 6.26-inch display and its dimensions are same as Honor 20. It could be coming with a 4,000mAh battery that may carry support for 20W fast charging. The 2.6GHz octa-core processor powers the smartphone. It may arrive in 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB RAM options and 128 GB and 256 GB storage models. The Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device. It is equipped with a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixle + 2-megapixel triple camera setup and a front-facing snapper of 32-megapixel.
