Huawei Nova 5T Launched as Rebranded Edition of the Honor 20 in Malaysia

In Malaysia, Huawei has launched the Huawei Nova 5T smartphone. The Nova 5T is a rebadged version of the Honor 20 smartphone. The major highlight of the smartphone is that it is a budget-friendly flagship phone that is fitted with a quad camera setup.

Huawei Nova 5T Specifications

The Huawei Nova 5T has a 6.26-inch LTPS IPS display that offers full HD+ resolution. It offers a high screen-to-body ratio since it comes with a punch-hole display design. The Kirin 980 chipset is present under the hood of the device. The only major difference between the Honor 20 and Nova 5T is that the former comes with 6 GB of RAM whereas the latter is equipped with 8 GB of RAM.

The quad camera setup of Huawei Nova 5T features Sony IMX586 48-megapixel primary unit, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, a dedicated 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The handset is backed by a 3,750mAh battery that is equipped with 22.5W fast charging.  The usual connectivity features are available on the device. However, it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.

Huawei Nova 5T Price

The Huawei Nova 5T has arrived in Malaysia with a price tag of RM 1,599 (~$330) . Its pre-orders will begin in the country on Aug. 29 and it will go on sale on Sept.7.
