The Vivo NEX 3 will go official on Sept. 16. The USP of the phone is its marvelous display that has extremely curved edges. Rumors surrounding the phone have claimed that the display will offer a screen space of 99.6 percent. Li Xiang, Vivo NEX Product Manager has confirmed that the NEX 3 will indeed offer a screen-to-body ratio of 99.6 percent.
Xiang has claimed that according to the industry’s standard calculation method, the NEX 3’s display that main occupies its front allows it to deliver 99.6 screen space. The side bezels of the phone are almost non-existent thanks to the extremely curved edges of the display. The upper and lower bezels of the phone are also quite thin.
The Vivo NEX 3 has a 6.89-inch AMOLED display that is embedded with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 855+ chipset with up to 12 GB of RAM will be fueling the smartphone. The handset may come with highest storage option of 512 GB. The Android 9 Pie OS with the most recent version of FunTouch OS will be available on the device. The 4,500mAh battery of the Vivo NEX 3 will be coupled with 44W fast charging technology. It has a 16-megapixel dual pop-up selfie camera and a 64-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 13-megapixel triple camera system. The company will be releasing the phone in non-5G and 5G versions.
