When the Honor 9X made it’s official debut back in July this year, the device is available only in three color options namely Magic Night Black, Charm Sea Blue and Charm Red. The Honor 9X Pro on the other hand, only has two color options including Magic Night Black and Phantom Purple.
Now, Honor has announced a new Icelandic White color option for both the Honor 9X and 9X Pro, which will go on sale starting October 1st in China. This new variant features a color-changing back panel which shows off a stylish blend of Blue, Yellow and Pink hues under the reflection of light.
Besides the cosmetic differences, the rest of the specs and pricing remain similar as the other variants. Although the Icelandic White variant is currently exclusive to the Chinese market, but we do expect it to make it’s way to other markets in the coming months – just like the Icelandic Frost variant of the Honor 20 Pro, which was initially exclusive to China.
So far, the Honor 9X series has been one of the best-selling smartphones in Honor’s portfolio. Last month, the company announced that the company had sold more than 3 million smartphones from the Honor 9X series in China within a month after it’s official debut.
