Xiaomi has confirmed that the company will be introducing a set of custom designed “RUOK” (read as are you okay?) casings for the upcoming Mi CC9 Pro which will be announced on November 5th.
This street-styled casings will be available in 3 colorways including Blue, Green and Orange. Unlike most typical phone casings we saw, the “RUOK” casings features a trendy ribbon affixed to the back of the casing that will hang out of your side pocket. According to Xiaomi, this ribbon will come with matching colors depending on the color of the phone casing.
Surely, this will give the device a more youthful vibes and trendy outlook. Some however, felt that the ribbon which was left hanging out of the side pocket may make it easier for theft to occur.
For those who’re interested, the “RUOK” casings are expected to be sold separately, and will not be included within the retail box. However, Xiaomi may choose to bundle it as part of their free gifts for early birds who pre-ordered the device before it go on sale.
