Honor’s president Zhao Ming has already revealed previously that the company’s first-ever 5G smartphone, dubbed as the Honor V30, will be announced in November.
Today, Zhao has taken a step further by showcasing the incredible download and upload speed of the Honor V30 5G. As seen from the screenshot above, the V30 5G managed to achieve an impressive download speed of 741MB/s, as well as an upload speed of 69.4MB/s. That’s more than 10 times faster than the average download speed on 4G networks.
Besides revealing the incredible network speed on the Honor V30 5G, the screenshot also revealed a relatively huge spacing on the top-left corner of the notification bar. This once again, reaffirmed that the Honor V30 5G will be arriving with a pill-shaped, hole punched display which we’d seen previously from an alleged leaked image.
In China, the Honor V30 5G had already been certified by both the 3C and TENAA authority. It’s certification had confirmed that the device will be able to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes.
Besides the Honor V30, it’s parent company Huawei is also prepping another upper mid-ranger 5G smartphone dubbed as the Nova 6 5G which is expected to be announced in December.
