Qualcomm has recently confirmed that it will be holding the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019 in Hawaii, U.S. between Dec. 3 and Dec. 5. The U.S. based chipset maker is heavily speculated to launch its new 7nm flagship chipset called Snapdragon 865 that will power premium Android devices starting from December this year. A reliable tipster from China has shared the key details of the SD865 SoC.
The leak reveals that the Snapdragon 865 chipset has one 2.84GHz Cortex A77, three 2.42GHz Cortex A77 and 1.8GHz Cortex A55 and it includes Adreno 650 graphics. He has added that the SD865 SoC will offer 20 percent improved CPU performance and 17 to 20 percent Snapdragon 855 chipset.
Last year, Lenovo had surprised the smartphone industry by announcing the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT as the first phone fueled by the Snapdragon 855SoC. Recent reports have revealed that the China luxury smartphone brand named 8848 may launch the Titanium M6 5G smartphone as the first phone with SD865. The first quarter of 2020 will see SD865 powered flagship phones from Samsung, Xiaomi, Sony and some other brands.
