Although all eyes were on the Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G today, but let’s not forget about the Nova 6 SE which was also made official today.
Surely, the Nova 6 SE doesn’t comes with those powerful specs we saw from the Nova 6, but it still a pretty promising smartphone as compared to other smartphones in the same segment.
Huawei Nova 6 SE Design
The Huawei Nova 6 SE features a typical hole-punched style display for it’s front panel. However, unlike it’s Nova 6 sibling, the Nova 6 SE will only come with a single 16 megapixels selfie camera.
On the back panel, there is a squarish camera module which houses 4 camera sensors including a 48 megapixels main snapper, an 8 megapixels ultra wide lens, a 2 megapixels macro lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portraits. Below the camera module sits a LED flash for low-light conditions.
The Nova 6 SE is offered in 3 unique colorways including Phantom Black, Pink-Blue Gradient and Green.
Huawei Nova 6 SE Specifications
The Huawei Nova 6 SE comes with a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ screen resolution. It will also be employing a side-mounted fingerprint sensor instead of a under display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the device is driven by a mid-ranger Kirin 810 SoC coupled with 8GB worth of RAM and 128GB onboard storage which is expandable by up to 256GB.
Software-wise, it will run on the latest EMUI 10 based on Android 10 OS. It will be fueled by a 4,200mAh battery which supports up to 40W fast-charging.
Huawei Nova 6 SE Pricing & Availability
The Huawei Nova 6 SE is available only in a single 8GB+128GB memory which come with an affordable price tag of 2,199 Yuan (US$312).
Currently, there is still no news on it’s global availability. However, the device will go on sale in China on December 25th.
