OPPO Reno3 smartphone series has scored more than 1.46 million registrations

Yesterday, OPPO finally took the wrap off their highly-anticipated OPPO Reno3 and Reno3 Pro duo during an official launch event in China. Within a day after their official debut, the Reno3 smartphone series has already scored more than 1.46 million registrations of interest in the Chinese market.

According to OPPO, the Reno3 series has achieved the highest registrations at JD.com this year for the 5G smartphone segment. Although the Reno3 series isn’t the cheapest 5G devices in the market, but they are certainly value for money if you take into account the specs and features that they offer.

The devices are the first batch of OPPO smartphones that come with the so-called 360 degrees antennas design which helps to ensure optimal connectivity for users regardless how the device was held. This is an extremely useful feature when it comes to gaming as it will help to prevent frame drops caused by disconnection.

Similarly, the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro are driven by the Mediatek’s Dimensity 1000L and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G SoC respectively. These chips feature integrated 5G modem which is capable of supporting both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes.

Among all the current 5G smartphones in the market, they also offer the slimmest form factors which have a slim profile of less than 8mm excluding the lens.

As a quick recap, the OPPO Reno3 is priced at 3,399 Yuan (US$486) and 3,699 (US$529) Yuan respectively for the 8GB+128GB and 12GB+128GB models.

The Reno3 Pro on the other hand, is priced at 3,999 Yuan (US$571) and 4,499 Yuan (US$643) respectively for the 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants.
