The upcoming Galaxy S20, as seen from the earlier leaked renders, will sport a redesigned camera module that looks similar to what we’d seen from the newly announced Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite.
As expected, there will be a huge improvements to their camera departments with reports suggesting that the entire lineup will feature an impressive 108 megapixels main snapper.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S20 series will be driven by the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC except for the European markets where it’ll be fueled by an Exynos 990 SoC instead.
The new Galaxy S20 line will further strengthens Samsung’s 5G portfolio and it’s market position as the largest 5G smartphones provider. Last year alone, Samsung has shipped a total of 6.7 million 5G smartphones globally and they will certainly sets a higher target this year.
Apart from the Galaxy S20 smartphones, speculations are also rife that the Galaxy Fold 2 may debut during the February 11th Unpacked event as well. Unlike the current Galaxy Fold, the Fold 2 is rumored to come with a more affordable price point of less than US$1,000.
