Xiaomi Mi 10 and Black Shark 3 Launch Events Likely to be Held Online Only

Many smartphone companies in China are expected to launch new phones in this month. Samsung will be holding a global launch event on Feb. 11 to announce the Galaxy S20 series. It was said that Xiaomi may become the first company to launch a Snapdragon 865 driven phone by holding its Xiaomi Mi 10 series earlier this month. Xiaomi is yet to confirm a launch event date for Mi 10 series. A well-known Chinese tipster has claimed that the company may avoid an offline launch event due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus in China. Instead, the Mi 10 series and Black Shark 3 may go official through an online-only launch event.

As the above Weibo post reads, the Xiaomi Mi 10 series which includes Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro smartphones and the Black Shark 3 series are going to be unveiled in February. Even the launch of other phones is also expected this month. However, it instead of an offline event, these Chinese firms are going to unveil their products online. This situation caused due to Coronavirus outbreak will help in saving money that could have gone into renting a place for an offline event.

As it can be seen in the screenshot of the Weibo post from Black Shark technology CEO Luo Yuzhou, he is seen saying that the traditional offline press conference is no longer suitable to gather people due to the current and severe epidemic. He is clearing hinting that the Black Shark 3 launch event will be held online.

Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. Reports have claimed the highest editions of the Mi 10 Pro and Black Shark 3 could be equipped with 16 GB of RAM. These phones are expected to come with LPDDR5 and UFS 3.0.

The Mi 10 series could be priced between 3,500 Yuan and 5,000 Yuan. The pricing of the Black Shark 3 is currently under the wraps.
