Xiaomi Mi 10 sells out again during second round of sale

Last week, the Xiaomi took the wrap off their latest Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro flagship in China. The following day, the Mi 10 also went on it’s debut sale but was quickly sold out within seconds.

Today, the Mi 10 Pro finally went on it’s debut sale as well. Unsurprisingly, the device was also sold out within a short span of just 55 seconds. According to Xiaomi, a total of 200 million yuan was transacted during this period of time which equates to a total of 33,000 to 40,000 units sold.

As of now, there is still no words on when the second round of sale will commence. However, it is possible that Xiaomi is currently facing a shortage of stocks for their Mi 10 series phones due to the recent coronavirus outbreak within the country which may affects it’s supply chain to some extent.

In the Chinese market, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is priced at 4,999 Yuan (US$716), 5,499 Yuan (US$788) and 5,999 Yuan (US$859) for the 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB models respectively.

Sad to say, the global launch event for the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro had been pushed back to a later date due to the cancellation of the Mobile World Congress trade show. The revised date for the global launch event has yet to be revealed by Xiaomi.
