Black Shark 3 series of smartphones are set to go official on March 3. The KLE-A0 and MBU-A0 models were recently spotted on 3C which indicated that there could be two phones in the series. The two models were also spotted at Geekbench in the recent past. Finally, an official confirmation has come from Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun that the names of the two phones are Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro.
Jun has also stated that the Black Shark 3 has a 4,720mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. In the first 15 minutes of rapid charging, the phone can gain 2,780mAh battery juice.
The Black Shark 3 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery. The Pro version also seems to be equipped with a 65W rapid charging technology. The Chinese firm has greatly increased the number of battery charging cycles. Also, both phones have a special magnetic connector on the back for charging conveniently while playing games. The phone is also to arrive with a headphone jack.
The Black Shark 3 series is expected to come with a quad HD+ resolution supporting screen that offers 120Hz refresh ratev. The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform will be powering both smartphones. A leaked photo reveals the presence of triple cameras on the backside of the Black Shark 3.
The MBU-A0 smartphone was recently spotted with an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score of 612,251. The handset was found with 12 GB of RAM and a built-in storage of 512 GB. Ahead of the launch, the Chinese firm is expected to reveal more details on the Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro smartphones.
