Vivo has introduced the Vivo APEX 2020. Like the predecessor APEX concept phones from the company, the Vivo APEX 2020 has arrived with plenty of innovative features. The phone won’t be made available for purchase. However, it does manage to showcase the advanced technologies that Vivo as a manufacturer can pack inside a smartphone.
Vivo APEX 2020 Specifications
Vivo APEX 2020 has a notch-less 6.45-inch AMOLED FullView Edgeless Display that offers 1080 x 2330 pixels. The display has a 120-degree curvature towards the left and right edges. The phone comes with an in-screen selfie snapper. By merging 4 pixels into 1, the Vivo APEX 2020 can shoot 64-megapixel selfies.
The rear side of the APEX 2020 has a round-shaped camera module that includes a 48-megapixel camera that has gimbal-like stabilization. Compared to conventional OIS, the new technology on the APEX 2020 offers 200 percent extended angle of stabilization. There is a 16-megapixel that offers an actual zoom range of 5x to 7.5x without any digital magnification.
The sophisticated APEX 2020 does not feature physical buttons and ports. It is equipped with a pressure-sensitive power button. There is Screen SoundCast technology onboard which allows the phone to emit sounds through the speaker. The phone comes with support for 60W wireless charging technology. The feature is dubbed as Super FlashCharge which can fill up to 2,000mAh juice in just 20 minutes. Its battery size wasn’t revealed.
The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform powers the device. The SoC is coupled with 12 GB of RAM. The phone has a native storage of 256 GB. It also supports 5G connectivity.
